MythTV frontend setup

The system is now basically working, and in fact by running the frontend, selecting watch TV, you should be able to view any of those channels detected in the backend channel scan.

In my case I was to use Kodi as the frontend, and the main reason for running the frontend is that some setup, which does affect the backend, is done there.

Again, most parameters are left as default, and are only listed here if significant or require changing.

Setup->Video->General (auto-expire): Live TV age was set to 0 days. Extra disk space (GB) was set to 25, which seems a lot but I save backups to the data partition as well. Time to retain deleted recordings (days) was set to 0.

Setup->Video->General (advanced): Time to record before start of show / past end of show (secs) were set to 5 and 10 minutes respectively.

Manage Recordings->Recording Rules (Default template): Post-processing options 'Commercial flag' was cleared.

Next: Kodi setup
