This allows the pitch of the input signal to be changed by one octave up or down. The range is settable, and the change can be smooth, of in whole semitones.
Pitch shifting uses digital signal processing techniques that are very CPU intensive.
Stepping can be turned on and off, and the range (up, down or both) is selectable. The mix of unchanged to processed signal is also settable. In this case, stepping is on, the range is -one octave to normal, the actual shift is -6 semitones, and the processed signal is mixed in 8dB lower than the unprocessed signal. |
